NAPDA's Mission Statement

We preserve the past for future generations by gathering the history of the pioneers and their descendants.

NAPDA's Primary Purpose

We are largely a social organization. Although we try to provide some programs and charitable services to the general public, our primary mandate is to preserve the history of the pioneers of northern Alberta.

NAPDA's Objectives

  • Educating the public about the richness of the contributions of the pioneers and their families to the development of Alberta;
  • Providing, administering and maintaining a multi-use facility for the community;
  • Relieving poverty by providing meals to those in need in the community; and
  • Gifting funds to qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1 (1) of the Income Tax Act.
