NAPDA's Mission Statement
We preserve the past for future generations by gathering the history of the pioneers and their descendants.
NAPDA's Primary Purpose
We are largely a social organization. Although we try to provide some programs and charitable services to the general public, our primary mandate is to preserve the history of the pioneers of northern Alberta.
- Educating the public about the richness of the contributions of the pioneers and their families to the development of Alberta;
- Providing, administering and maintaining a multi-use facility for the community;
- Relieving poverty by providing meals to those in need in the community; and
- Gifting funds to qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1 (1) of the Income Tax Act.
