Play Whist Every Tuesday at Old Timers Cabin.
NAPDA hosts a game of whist on Tuesdays at its headquarters, Old Timers Cabin. If you have never heard of it before, according to the Merriam Webster dictionary, whist is
a card game for four players in two partnerships that is played with a pack of 52 cards and that scores one point for each trick in excess of six.
Here is what you need to know about the activity:
What Have cold lunch (sandwiches, veggies/dip, crackers/cheese, fresh fruits, home
baking), play whist (20 hands) with cash prizes. Cost $8 cash.
When Tuesdays from September 5 to December 5 (1st Tuesday September to 1st
Tuesday December).
Starts again January 9 to May 29 (2nd Tuesday January to last Tuesday May).
Doors open 10:30 a.m.
Food 11:45 a.m.
Playing whist starts approx. 12:45 pm – finish/gone/pickup by 2:30-2:45 p.m.
